Story 57. Written by Jim Waitlord
At first there was the Lord the Almighty. Not a person, but the essence of existence, the source of consciousness and potential, dwells in the infinite depths of emptiness. There was no past, no future, only the eternal present, the endless state of meditation. In this almost nothing, he felt a throbbing, creative urge, a thirst to create something-something that reflected his own greatness. Creation was not only an act for him, but a form of self-expression, a desire to understand himself. It was not a desire for power, but an inner desire to fill the emptiness with something intelligent.
So the Lord decided to create the world. This moment was not a flash of impulse, but the result of a long meditating discussion. The Lord imagined the universe: great galaxies, the ethereal light of stars, and life flourishing in chaos and order. Creation was not a decision, but a complex algorithm in which each element perfectly matched the others. In the eyes of the Lord, creation was an artistic form, carefully and carefully created.
The moment of the Big Bang has arrived, after eons of preparation. The Lord has made countless laws - not only the laws of physics, but also the principles of existence, determining all the complicated details of the operation of the world. These were not mere formulas, but complex systems of equations that controlled everything from the fabric of spacetime to the smallest particles. The force of gravity, the electromagnetic interactions, the uncertainty of quantum mechanics - all these were arranged in a complicated, elegant dance initiated by the Lord at the moment of creation.
The Lord first woven the web of spacetime - a boundless, elastic fabric that became the foundation of existence. It released energy and matter from the void into this substance, concentrated in the form that triggered the Big Bang. The explosion was not a simple event, but a controlled, unique choreography led by the great knowledge of the Lord. He calculated the trajectories of every particle and the effect of every force, modeling the inevitable consequences: the birth of the first atoms, the ignition of stars, and the spiral arms of galaxies. The Big Bang was the realization of the great vision of the Lord, the launch of a flawless mechanism characterized by infinite complexity.
In his almighty and creative power, the Lord believed that he had created a perfect masterpiece. He had anticipated all possible outcomes, he thought, so that the world he had created would perfectly reflect his intentions. He had not expected that creation itself would be an evolutionary process rather than a static, finished work.
But the universe did not meet His expectations. As it expanded and evolved, unforeseen events began to unfold. The stars of the galaxies formed in unexpected patterns glowed with unpredictable brilliance. The quasars raced unpredictably, as if an invisible hand were playing with the laws of nature. The Lord began to feel his perfect order wavering, and despair was growing on him.
Guided by his pride, the Lord tried to correct these "mistakes". Using his immense power, he manipulated the universe, correcting the differences. He believed that by restoring defective parts, perfect order could be restored. However, these interventions had unforeseen consequences. The universe resisted interference. New anomalies had appeared, and the chaos he was trying to suppress was growing stronger. The cosmic wars and storms which the Lord tried to prevent caused greater destruction, worsening the situation.
As time passed, the Lord became more and more disappointed. His creature refused to obey his will. Life appeared in strange and unpredictable forms in places where he never wanted to come into existence. These lifeforms defied his original plans, burst into the light, and revealed the limits of his plans. The Lord could no longer regard his creation as perfect, and this realization hurt him.
Finally, in despair, the Lord realized that he could not control his creation. The chaos that he was about to suppress was consuming him, and the world he had so carefully planned was beginning to unfold. He felt that he had failed, not in creation, but in himself. He understood that he could not rule the universe forever, so there was only one way left: destruction. It was not a question of abandoning its power, but of surrendering to the reality that the world it created must develop on its own.
The Lord has broken down his consciousness into his smallest elements, returning to the space from which he once emerged. There was neither revenge nor anger, only deep grief and acceptance of the laws he had created. Self-destruction was not an act of annihilation, but of renunciation and liberation. This last gesture freed the universe from His rule. The raw potential jumped again, and the universe began its unpredictable orbit, until the story of the Lord became nothing more than a faint echo in cosmic time.
The Lord, if he ever existed, is now only a shadowy echo in the fabric of cosmic time. The great plan with which he created the world, intended to be perfect, failed. His power faded, his awareness dissolved, leaving only the created world behind - a reality that had turned into chaos. The laws of nature continue to follow the order he has ordained, but the Creator is no longer there to control them, just a quiet echo in the fabric of spacetime. The universe, once meant to be His perfect creature, is now drifting, swept by the currents of coincidence and chaos. And though we pray and hope that the Lord will return and save us, there will be no answer. The Creator is gone, leaving us to go our own ways and face the questions of life and death. The Lord is now only a distant memory, an echo of creation, and we are forever alone in the world he has left behind.
